I want to talk to you about four things I come back to again and again with my clients when something old is showing up and how we can begin offering ourselves now what we may not have had access to then.

Before we get into those, I want to bring it back to the Impala video that I have talked about on the podcast several times before.

Uh, and, and not to piss off all the, um, Impala lovers out there who are like, "But the Impala is their home."

The impala shot was – I, I, I've been told the whole time that they drop and they're really fast.

So I aimed a little bit lower than I normally would on a white tail.

And I shot the first Impala with his head up and he had to rely on gravity to start moving.

And he, I mean, maybe only dropped three quarters of an inch and I cut the bottom of his heart with two of my broadhead blades and he went 20 yards and expired.

So that, that was, that was probably from a, uh, it was nerve wracking in a different way than the wildebeest just because it was the first arrow I'm shooting in front of Neil.

But this being over in Africa, it's like, you had a guide in the blind with you.

Like everybody knows what's going down here in Africa and stuff.

So that first Impala was pretty stressful.

That's one of them I haven't gotten around to.

Tame Impala's Kevin Parker says he's sorry for fans, but he's not going to be stopping to sign autographs or take pictures when you catch him coming out of a hotel or run into him at the airport anymore.

He said aggressive autograph hounds who are not even true fans, they just want to sell his autograph.

That makes him uncomfortable.

Oh, right.

He's Australian, man.

Is Impala indigenous to Australia? I thought that

was a car.

Um, that was, that was a huge highlight for him.

And, um, you know, got some nice animals, uh, my wife bagged a spring buck Impala.

I shot kudu, gims buck, black-willed beast, sable, zebra.

Um, I think all in all, all three of us, uh, ended up coming back with about 10 animals and it was a good trip.

My wife, on our first trip, passed up on a stud warthog, and she regrets it to this day.

And then so she was after her big warthog.

The other couple that went with us, they were after just kind of their basic plains game, Kudu, Gimsbuck, Blessbuck, Impala, that kind of stuff.

But my dad's and my focus was really Buffalo.

Somebody went and saw Tame Impala and was like blown away.

Oh, great.

Impolite Impalas Pushing through the tall dry grass, two small figures moved like stealthy ninjas.

They were a pair of helmeted guinea fowl with round bodies and small blue heads crowned with a lumpy crest.

See anything? whispered Roo to his brother.

It's okay, smiled Roo with relief.

It's just an impala.

Impalas were a light brown antelope with impressive horns, and this one was nibbling leaves from a bush.

As a herbivore, it was no threat to the guinea fowl, so they exited the long grass, not expecting trouble.
