Brilliant Lady

And closing it out to a follow-up story we first brought you earlier this summer about some events that took place on a Virgin Voyages ship up in Alaska.

Yeah, we're talking about their newest ship, the Brilliant Lady, and the fact that back in July a crew member was arrested following allegations that he had inappropriately touched several guests.

Now, a $75,000 lawsuit has been filed against both Virgin Voyages and One Spa World, which is the contractor who runs their onboard, um, facilities, uh, such as, you know, the spa, the salon, that kind of thing.

Um, the lawsuit says that there was inadequate supervision of employees and that there weren't enough safeguards in place to prevent something from happening.

What a slap in the face.

In a follow-up to a story we first reported back in July, a lawsuit is underway after a hairstylist aboard Virgin Voyage's Brilliant Lady was arrested following allegations that he inappropriately touched several passengers during private appointments.

Federal prosecutors said the hairstylist offered passengers free massages.

One of the alleged victims has filed a lawsuit against Virgin Voyages and spa operator One Spa World, alleging inadequate supervision and safeguards.

Yeah, we went on Brilliant Lady earlier this year, and I was excited because it was supposed to stop at Demony.

And I had heard, you know, I had heard good things about the stop at Demony.

And of course, it was one of those things where weather got in the way.
