You can do this thing, you know, whether it's where you're taking the language or where you're taking, your writer, like with motifs, with themes, with repetition, whatever it may be.

Um, Imani Perry is another writer that every book she puts out is phenomenal.

Um, her latest blue is really stunning.

My favorite is the letter that she wrote to her sons again, just like to, to take a topic like that or to take a particular like angle and make it work.

I write to a lot of music.

I couldn't explain it until I read Imani Perry's last book about blue and the blues.

And she talks about putting on music to prepare the room.

And I do that.

So that's the read that I was rocking on August 1st in celebration of Uncle Jimmy's legacy and his influence on many of us.
