Illinois State Library

Thank you, James.

Yeah, so a few years back, we received a grant from the Illinois State Library to digitize between 5 to 6,000 items from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library's audiovisual collection.

And so that covered, you know, things from photographs to broadsides to prints, paintings, and so on.

And so, um, part of that grant is to allow us to put these scanned images online for people to view, uh, high-resolution copies.

So the Illinois Secretary of State's office is involved in this project right through the, the digi- the, uh, digital archives.

Do, do you wanna speak to kind of how that thing's set up?

Yeah, so basically, um, the Illinois Digital Archives, it is through the Illinois State Library, and we're not the only library that gets to use it.

There's, uh, libraries all across t- the State of Illinois, um, from public libraries to academic to special libraries like us.
