That's an interesting list because there's some players on there you would expect to hear and you don't.

So let's get into the cells because I think the cells are really interesting and there's some names on here that I think a lot of people will be surprised by.

And the guy who was, um, who was the dude, this was in the, uh, ranking the top, uh, t- Ilya Morozov, right? Ilya Morozov was what, the youngest player in college last year? And he's at-

Yeah, I don't get that at all either.

He's 152 out of 156? Yeah.

Like, I don't get that.

I can guarantee it.

Not for him necessarily, but for Ilya Morozov.

Really, really enjoy his, his play.

Um, he, this guy just gets involved.

I, I kind of have a sense of, like, what tiers those guys are in, but doing it one by one is a little bit tougher.

I did rank, though, the guys the Sabres just picked in the first round, doing a lot of homework on them at this past NHL draft, especially after the fact, Ilya Morozov and Daxon Rudolph.

So the top seven, which I think most people are interested in anyway.

And we'll start at number seven, and this will be, I think, easy.

This is Ilya Morozov.

Center, going back to college.

He is described as a big, two-way centerman that does lack some offensive ability, and the idea that he will ever become a top six guy that's going to have dynamic offensive ability at the NHL level does not seem all that likely, making him just a little bit more of a, not a, you know, a f- a floor guy.

And so it really changes the amount of leeway that you have to give a prospect before you can really determine exactly how they're gonna operate at the NHL level when you project them outward.

So, like, Ilya Morozov, for instance, who also was drafted, that we could talk about.

He was the, one of the youngest players in college, right? He was an August birth date.

Verhaeghe was also a young birth date.

Oh

yeah, Morozov, he came over like very early.

Yeah, he's playing college hockey.

He's like, I plan on playing in the NHL for a long time, so might as well get myself acclimated.

So that didn't work out clearly.

But

now Ilya Morozov is part of that trade tree.

So we'll see.
