Um, but yeah, Saturday was a very busy day for me because I did my normal walk at the con and walk through just to see where everyone was, saying hi to people and, and other people who just friends or people I'd interviewed in the past and you know chat with some other cartoonists um I did six interviews that day all the way to the end uh when the show ended at 7 p.m um but yeah it was a long day but really fun um got some dinner with some good friends Monica Gallagher who's like my con pal for life I love her and um a really good friend of hers who I know as well as friend Tim Fish the three of us had this lovely dinner and um came back to the A hotel, and a lot of people were just going to hang at the bar, out on the patio, and the Ignatz Awards, which are the indie awards they give out here, every year were happening, so a lot of people were attending the award show, and of course when that cleared out, they all came out to the patio and the bar, and everyone was just hanging out.
Jimmy AquinoHOST

you know, having a drink or two, and so it was just sort of fun to, again, again, these shows were hanging out with friends, got to see, you know, of course, Monica, and then Daniel Corsetto, and Jamie Noguchi, and others, we all know each other, and the three of them were really great friends, so it was a great catch-up, um, yeah, Sunday started with the, the, uh, nice little breakfast with Monica and Danielle at the hotel, and Rachel and Jamie joined us later, and here's a cute little, little story, um, So again, Rachel is just adorable and lovely and so talented and awesome and such a good pal.

um so when we're talking and she's chatting away with danielle and this and that and then um daniel had to run and rachel was finishing up or like her coffees before heading into the show because she was a guest so she didn't have to be there to have a table she's had signing times and like a panel later um and they seem to get along very swimmingly which is which was great and so after daniel left rachel confessed to me that she was such a big fan of daniel's already if you don't know daniel corsetta's work he should she's famous for girls with slingshots and I'm going to do an elephant town, all sorts of stuff.
