Yeah, I mean, I should do that anyway.

It's just an applet in IFTTT.

I strive to use IFTTT Pro in a more effective manner by December 1st.

If I have not found a thing, things that it can do for me that it is doing by that point in time, then I'm going to cancel my Pro subscription, which will kind of suck, but I can't keep paying for stuff that I'm not actually using.

Just like, oh, it does this one thing, but I don't, that one thing, I can also automate it differently.

N8N is now the Zapier of technology, but it's old.

Zapier, IFTTT, N8N, Make.com, LaneChain, and so forth, versus TrulyIdentic.

These are all very, very different, very, very different stables of

everything.

Different people have different skills as well.

So if we say most of the agent tech systems right now, they're just glorified Zapier IFTTT routines.

That's the way I look at them right now.

The IFTTT recipes, if this, then that.

Robotic process automation, I guess, is what people

have taken to screen capturing.

So I screen capture those items and I have an automation set up on my phone using IFTTT.

And using IFTTT, it goes ahead and captures any screenshot that I take on my phone and it places it in my intranet.

I use Evernote for my intray because it can capture almost any type of data.

And so it's just really helpful for me for that purpose.

And to your point, yeah, IFTTT is still running and doing its thing.

Away mode randomizes on-off times to simulate occupancy during travel.

The IFTTT integration enables cross-device logic, like if the weather forecast says rain, then turn on the dehumidifier.

And there's a physical override button that maintains manual control without app access.

What's not? Kasa does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi, so dual-band router users must ensure 2.4 GHz SSID broadcasting.

Do budget smart home devices work during internet or power outages? Partially, depending on how automations are structured.

Wi-Fi smart bulbs and plugs with locally cached schedules will execute time-based routines, like if the time is 8 at night, then turn on, even without internet.

But cloud-dependent triggers like weather integrations, IFTTT applets, or voice commands fail immediately.

For a budget smart home under $100, assume 60-70% functionality during internet outages.

There are a couple of these.

One is called IFTTT that has been around for a long time, and it stands for If This, Then That.

Another one that's newer and more powerful is called Zapier, Z-A-P-I-E-R.

And I can't believe I just said Z without thinking about it.
