IF Elfsborg

Yeah.

Um, Will Orion, uh, the Gary Dempsey equalizer away to Elsborg, um, really, you know, uh, the commentary for that is brilliant.

But that-

Yeah

That's, that's Bri- Brian dancing up and down the line.

Yeah.

Uh, Lord Palmerstone, great name, I, I think I know who that is, uh, also talks about that, uh, Elsborg game in 2008.

Quigley took the ball around the keeper after the Alan Kirby pass, which he calls possibly accidental, but it definitely wasn't.

But if a Lancashire or a Mikey Moore does it, or a Luka Williams-Barnett does it, it just means so much more.

Even going back to that night against Elfsborg, when Dane Scarlett, Mikey Moore and Damola Rajayi scored, it was incredible.

It was such a great occasion kind of thing, and obviously eventually led on its way to the Europa League triumph.

Yeah.

Nine caps and two goals for the 26-year-old.

He plays for Braga in Portugal, uh, since 2025, and, uh, Celtic in Scotland prior to that, and has played in, uh, Netherlands and, uh, Elfsborg in Sweden.

Uh, Lagerbielke returned after a 13-month absence, so just more than a year.

Came back in November of 2024 and started five of their remaining, uh, 13 games there.

He's, uh, new to the squad since 2025, but has six caps, uh, there, and is 24 years old.

Plays for Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium since 2026.

Elfsborg in Sweden, uh, for three years before that.

Uh, Zeqiri got his first cap in March of 2025.

And I did have some conversations whilst I was in Finland about this.

You know, I think the PL2 is starting to become a bit of a target league for some of the Scandinavian clubs, with Charles Sager Jr. Jonathan Asenga went to Elsborg as well from Fulham, under-21s.

And this Trent Conor Doherty kind of started the trend maybe to Norway.

But I think it speaks to the level of Alita Sarian that he's probably needed a good six months to sort of adapt to the league.
