Um, Until at least 1987, that was the last known record of someone seeing it in his museum.

And then it disappears.

And what we know now is that once his museum closed, his taxidermy collection was... taken to the Idaho Museum of Natural History, where the mount was stored in storage until the feature was run on it and the Kirby's came back to kind of reclaim it.

Except the museum, technically speaking, the mount is on loan by the Idaho State Museum.

Eventually, one of Israel Hutchins' grandsons, Jack Kirby, got on the case.

He learned that after Sherwood's museum shut down, the entire taxidermy collection was donated to the Idaho Museum of Natural History in Pocatello.

As one does.

Where it was all put in storage.
