Icky Mettle

Archers of Loaf, man.

Like Eight, Icky Mettle, man.

Dude, even Purple, the Stone Temple Pilots record.

Yeah.

Oh, for sure.

One of the things that I really took away listening to, uh, this record, this record being, uh, Archers of Loaf, their debut, Icky Mettle, um, was how much of it kind of I, I heard different other bands, you know, kind of not even r- reflected, but kind of interpreted through this band.

And, and yeah, I, I, I, I agree that, that I, you know, also heard, you know, bands that I have been in, you know, kind of not at this, at this level but, you know, kind of those same kind of ideas, uh, in, in writing and, and playing.

Yeah, they're, they're Pavement-y and they're Guided by Voices-y.

Uh, Ben Folds Five is also, uh, from that area.

So, uh, yeah, Archers of Loaf, uh, North Carolina's own.

With their record, uh, Icky Mettle.

Um, y- you, uh, you do, do not know Archers of Loaf at all really, uh, in terms of, uh, Brett, what did you know and when did you know it?
