Ice Princess

When we see Poppy come around the corner through Laurel's eyes...

There's something very Ice Princess too about this movie, where I don't-

She's, she-

It's not, like, homoerotic, but, like, the movie wants you to fall in love with these characters and see them.

Of course.

Ice Princess is framed up extremely gay.

Yes.

This is best friend love, which is different.

The last one, Hayden Panettiere.

Hayden, Hayden Panettiere from, uh, Ice Princess, from Heroes.

Um, Bring It On: All or Nothing.

We're not gonna turn that level bomb.

Is it four months of each other?

Uh, Ice Princess released May, or March 18th, 2005.

Go Figure released June 10th, 2005.

That's so weird.

And like, obviously one's a DCOM and one...

Was Ice Princess in theaters?

Ice Princess was in theaters, but it's a low-budget theater movie.

Yeah, but still.

Oh.

And this song was also used in the trailer for DreamWorks' Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and also in a few movies like Just marry and Ice Princess.

Hmm.

Could see, yeah.

Ah, okay.

Two things.

I remember watching Ice Princess because I had a friend who's a little bit, like, older than me, and she was, like, kinda cool, and I was like, "Do you know that movie, like, ice skating?" She's like, "Oh, yeah, girl." So we sat down and watched it, and I was like, "I'm cool." I was not cool, but I thought she was, so by proxy.

Um-

Sure.

What were y'all's favorite Disney movies growing up, and why? Because the why gives me an insight into your personality.

Mulan.

Tea.

Well, I did this with Disney Plus because I cancelled it and then I had to get it back for the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

But I'd never, I did watch Ice Princess.

But apart from that, I'm like, there's nothing really on here that I want to watch.

No, I do believe we're all going back to Foxtel one day soon.

Did you

even watch Ice Princess? Yeah.

That was a big one for me.

And I loved ice skating.

We were all in a room together, one of them being Martha MacIsaac, who People will know from Superbad.

She was in a movie called The Ice Princess.

She, you know, she's had a really big, beautiful career.

And she's one of my best friends to this day.

I know.

She didn't mention Ice Princess.

I know, but you know, I was reading one thing about her death and they said, "Star of Ice Princess." I'm like, that's who she was.

I know, same.

I was like, she's in Ice Princess? I think she's like-

Well, like, I knew she was in Ice Princess, but I'm like, they never say Ice Pr- they usually say hero.

So, like, her bigger...

Ice Princess.

With that movie gone, she returned to what she knew, Disney.

In 2004, she was in the Disney Channel original Tiger Cruise and then in Disney's Ice Princess in 2005.

That same year, 2005, Racing Stripes came out.

She hurt her back on the movie while working with one of the zebras, but she didn't tell anyone because she didn't want to lose the role.
