And you just look at, I think, the north half of 3A and 2A, Do you say it probably comes down, you would believe, again, to Byron and IC Catholic, I would think?

Yeah, but I think Richmond Burton and Bishop Mack are a couple more interesting teams.

Uh, uh, real quickly, let me tell you, they are ranked in Class 6A.

They were number seven coming into the week.

in a while.

Uh, since they played Elmhurst week one, I would say.

Yes.

Um, but yeah, this, this should be interesting.

I, I don't have, I don't have much on, on his recruitment, but I do wanna touch on him as a player.

So I was at that game last week and 'cause they were playing Loyola was taking on IC Catholic and, and Grant Bowen.

But, um, there's a couple of guys at Loyola I, I believe Notre Dame should be on, and Brock has a shot.

I think he's better served to potentially be a guard at the next level or slide him inside.

Yes, he is, uh, Melo Maldonado is, boy, h- his brother was a star at Loyola, and he looks like he might be almost better.

He had a wonderful game against, um, IC Catholic this past weekend.

And, uh, you know, he's, he leaped over a kid.

He's not what you'd expect, because he's very small.

Mount Carmel won 40 to 14 against Catholic.

Hersey, 48 zip.

IC Catholic lost 45 to 35.

Bolingbrook put up 46.

If they play mistake-free or mistake-minimal offense, I think they got a good chance here.

All right, let's move on over to Loyola, who will be traveling to Elmhurst on Friday to play IC Catholic.

IC Catholic is undefeated.

They've scored 242 points compared to 83.

They beat Naz at the beginning of the season.

I think Grant Bowen is being looked at all these powerful schools and they got a lot of good playmakers, but this just kind of feels like a game where Loyola's school size and team size is just something that kind of wears a teams like I see Catholic down.

Yeah, I think so too.

And it takes nothing away from IC Catholic and what they're able to do.

58-6 in week two.

Their only loss came to IC Catholic Prep in week three.

They lost by a touchdown, 22-15.

Of course, last week beat the 7A finalists, St. Rita on the road, 42-16.

Of course, Loyola's dominating their opponents here at 6-0.

But, you know, he's right in the mix for, like, Catholic League Player of the Year, the way he's playing, Offensive Player of the Year.

Just racking up numbers.

When he's on, he's so hard to even touch in the open field.

And this year, it's just like they are all... major contenders.

Like maybe I don't know.

Lincoln waste is certainly up there, but they're, they're all right up there and they play in the same division of the Catholic league is, is just, I don't know.

We talk about it every year, but it's crazy to me.
