Ibanez Guitars

This other guitar here...

That's like a $200, maybe $100 cheap Ibanez dreadnought guitar.

It doesn't sound great, but it doesn't matter because I'm putting Nashville tune strings on it.

So I don't need like all of the body and all of the sustain that you look for in a guitar in standard tuning.

Maybe, like, a step up from, like, the Ibanez Geo, I want to say.

I don't really remember it too well.

But, like, it had... um it had like active pickups in it and then i got a line six like spider you know what like the typical like i'm putting this shit on the insane setting and not looking back Like, whatever, like, high-gain setting it has.

And then I got, like, my first head and cabinet probably around...

Like I said, I was like trying to be in a punk band and I thought I needed this and I needed that.

And I got this like old, like, what was it called? Ibanez.

It's like an old Ibanez guitar that they sold for a while.

Thought it looked cool.

Kind of looked like a Tysco, like an old Tysco.

Looked at Steve's house and walked into the record, his studio, which is intimidating and sitting there with his.

Fragile F-hole wooden scroll loop at the top of the headstock has snapped off over the years.

The original Clover-style tuning pegs and vintage Ibanez script logo remain fully intact and structurally sound.

Because

the way that it looked was so cool.

What was Ibanez thinking? There's no way that that style of headstock would have survived any sort of bumps.

It's a thousand times more fragile than any Gibson headstock.
