Ian Shapiro

My name is Justin Kemp, and I am your host as we explore the Democracy Paradox.

Today's guest is Ian Shapiro.

He is the Sterling Professor of Political Science at Yale University.

But that undersells his importance.

Ian Shapiro is one of the most influential political scientists alive today.

He studied under Robert Dahl and was a co-author of the Democracy Sourcebook.

Ian's latest book is called After the Fall, From the End of History to the Crisis of Democracy, How Politicians Broke Our World.
