Ian Roberts

I, it never once crossed my mind that everyone might be a little uncomfortable and weirded out by the fact that there's a child around.

And when I talk to, like someone I talk to a lot is Paul Scheer, and Paul is always just like, "Yeah, like of course that's how you grew up, and it's like what made you who you are." And, um, Ian Roberts, who for those listening is one of the founders of UCB, came to the premiere I did in LA of I Don't Trust Adults, and he was like, "How amazing is it that, um, you did this just as like a random thing that you did as a child, and now it's something that you do as a career?" So I think like- I think, I don't think anyone would earnestly ever be like, "I thought it was fucking weird that you were there."

[laughs]

But, um, I, I think the sentiment I've gathered is that everyone is like, "Oh g- oh good, this, this worked out in, in a, in one of the more positive ways it could have."

Yeah.

And i- ac- acting, it's really, I think we're, Ian Roberts, who's an improv teacher of mine, said we're in an industry, the only industry where you're, if you're told 9- no 98% of the time, you're a, a huge success.

[laughs]

You're told no so often in this industry-

Nice to meet you, Josh.

Mr. Ian Roberts.

Nice to meet you.
