Welcome to the Bumblecast.

There were two other books this week that I'll just talk about briefly.

The first is The Archie Christmas Spectacular, which is about 50 pages long and features some new stories, including a Ian Flynn and Dan Parent story that brings together all, like, the weird characters like Bob Phantom, Cosmo, Super Duck, for a Christmas party that accidentally winds up summoning Krampus.

[laughs]

[laughs]

Mm-hmm

... by Ian Flynn, uh, Chad Thomas, uh, Jim Amash as well.

And, um, that's worth reading too.

It's, it's, it's, it's a lot of fun, and it's like, again, it's like him as a kid too, having adventures.

[laughs]

[laughs]

Yeah, if, if you wanna hear a little bit more about that, uh, listeners can listen to our interviews with Ian Flynn.

I think we've talked to him twice.

It's popping off in there.

Oh, Ke- Ken Penders and Ian Flynn.

I challenge you to a duel.

Those, those are the Sonic comic writers, guys.

Welcome to the Bumblecast.

I'm your host, Ian Flynn, the Bumbleking, and joining me, as always, is my Bumble cohost, Kyle "JCRB" Krause.

Oh, we're back already?

Yep.

And I believe there's actually only one more from Archie.

This is the Archie Halloween Spectacular, and this is a 52-page anthology featuring a new lead story by Ian Flynn and Bill Galvin, which combines the Archie characters Medusa Doom and Cosmo the Space Martian, for a fairly action-packed...

Oh, and the fly from the Red Circle characters, in which a Medusa Doom, who is angry because her mad scientist father didn't buy her a new car, or, you know, steal it, brings a haunted house to life and attacks Riverdale with it, and the Archie characters get caught in the middle of it.

The main story is about 10 pages long, a little meatier than usual, but a lot of fun action.

They were considered, but I don't know if the name Team Hooligan was actually something they were throwing around, or if that was something that was just a sign.

Like, it was an Ian Flynn invention or something.

Um...

But yeah, it's interesting.

Welcome to Bumblecast Live.

I'm your host, Ian Flynn, the Bumble King, and joining me as always is my live co-host, Kyle JCRB Krause.

Oh, we got a live one here.

We are very live.

do make sure you're grounded before handling a live Bumblecast.

It's flopping around all over the place.

Hello, Ian.

Hello, Kyle, and hello to everyone who has joined us a week early.
