Yeah, it would be interesting if it was Conchar and Wiseman when it's all said and done.

I think I said it, like, I think at the top of the show, or pretty close to the top of the show yesterday, based on the way Ian Begley phrased Conchar signing, where it was like he had a lot of interest, like, presumably there was some, like, indication from the Knicks he could make the roster, which I think is a heavy-handed way of stating what Ian stated, but it was just very reminiscent to me of what he said about Landry Shamit a year ago and like connecting the dots.

And like, that is probably the guy most likely to make the team.

And then again, like I clarified it yesterday, but they, they nominally have two roster spots.

But point is, if a player gets injured in training camp, uh, the New York Knicks do not have to worry about it from a liability standpoint.

We had the tweet, um, from Ian Begley.

Um, all of them are on training camp deals.

They will compete for an open roster spot.

Seems like in the right context, playing with the right players in the right lineups, he can still be a very useful player, and I think he is pretty clearly the closest thing the Knicks have on this list to Malcolm Brogdon.

And I don't say that in the sense that he's retiring, but in the sense that he can still be a beneficial player.

Uh, John Konchar is someone that Ian Begley thinks has a pretty good chance to make the roster.

He wrote, "John Konchar chose the Knicks over other suitors, so he wouldn't have come to NYK without a solid chance to make final r- the final roster.

Let's actually just like quickly sum up what exactly the Knicks have done, and then after we sum up what the Knicks have done, we can talk about why it is that they might be doing this, um, and, and go from there.

So, uh, as usual, leave it to Ian Begley to provide what I find to be the, the best, um, summation of the event.

So I'm actually gonna put up his, uh, tweet that he just sent out right here, so I don't have to keep looking to the side of my screen, um, to read it.

The problem is these are the only options available right now.

Shout out to the Stein Line for also listing some available free agents not specifically related to the Knicks, just in general, including these bigs: Tony Bradley, who Ian Begley already reported is on New York's radar, Drew Eubanks, again, on New York's radar.

Then you have Bismack Biyombo, Mason Plumlee, Dwight Powell, Kelly Olynyk, Maxi Kleber, and Kevin Love.

Do you understand now why the Knicks haven't announced that they've signed another center in free agency? Because, I mean, which player would they even sign in free agency that could realistically help this team? That's why the Knicks are likely working the phone lines trying to make a trade happen, and really, that's the way to fill the center need on this team.

So I'm, like, reticent to be like, "Yeah, give him 70 million a year." But given Leon Rose's track record, given, like, Kat's general selflessness, like, I, I think they find some middle ground.

I know Ian Begley's had some reporting on that.

Um, if I'm remembering correctly, the number could be around, like, $45 million a year, which would just be a massive steal for what Kat does.

And even if it's a little bit north of that, like, I, I think Kat, OG, Brunson are, like, the three non-negotiables and it, it's why if I was the Knicks, to circle back, I would've gone all in on this year and br- brought Mitchell Robinson back because I, I think the, the only counterargument is that with this team smack dab in the middle of their prime, like, do the Knicks really think they can compete for a title in three or four years unless they pivot-

But if you wanna give Og Anunoby a rest, Diawara's gonna need to come in and step up.

And the other thing I found interesting is Ian Begley of SNY had reported, we've all talked about who are they gonna give their 14th roster spot to, we've all expected it to be a big man, it still might be.

Ian Begley had written that they're pretty comfortable going into the season, I believe, with just Andre Drummond and Carl Anthony Towns if they have to.

And so if they're gonna do that, you know, we're gonna see some smaller lineups.

If there's a night where KAT's minutes are down, or Andre Drummond's injured, or, or it's not a good matchup for him, Mo Diawara's gonna need to be a part of those smaller lineups.

And his passing, I really like his passing.

Ian Begley of SNY was on his show, The Putback, this is in article form, answering fan questions, and somebody asked a fan-- somebody asked Ian about what he thinks will happen with Deuce McBride.

Ian gave his opinion in an article, so I thought I'd read that and discuss it quickly.

Brother, I mean, easily to me, the winner of the offseason on paper was the Philadelphia 76ers because you got off the Paul George contract and you were able to improve upon the player.

You got Jalen Brown, a guy that, you know, can play at a. high level was among the top mvp candidates this year um you bring in lebron james i don't really need to speak much on that arguably the greatest player alongside michael jordan though i'll probably take jordan personally Anthony Simons and Dean Wade, KCP.

I mean, they really improved the depth of this team and a good value.

So to me, they were the winner of the offseason.

They got when Minyama to extend and he took a look, he gave him a little bit of financial flexibility, which I thought was huge for them.

And Julian Champagne coming up as well.
