And Jennifer Welch has spent most of her life in Oklahoma, and as an atheist her whole life, she's experienced a lifetime of interactions with white evangelicals that have apparently shaped her attitudes toward them.

So she frequently criticizes white evangelicals in extremely harsh terms.
