Like when he performed I Shall Be Released for the first time in eighteen years.

And, um, I sang I Shall Be Released, and I got the words wrong.

Which is this historic...

I mean, they were at the last waltz together, and I guess they technically sang I Shall Be Released together, but it wasn't just them.

It was the whole choir of people.

But Neil was down and out, too.

But then I'm using magnetic pickups, so it's picking up the strings a lot.

like you say it's it's doing it like an electric but there's all this other information we this is a funny thing if you can find it it's on the streaming services um it's a version of i shall be released that we recorded with um with uh jack johnson okay for some compilation it was i think a band compilation this was like a long time sure it was like 15 years ago probably or something But it's really cool.

So, their debut album, Music from the Big Pink, was released in July 1968 and was widely acclaimed.

It included three songs written or co-written by Dylan, which are The Wheels on Fire, Tears of Rage and I Shall Be Released, as well as The Wait, which became one of their best known songs after it was used in the 1969 film Easy Rider.

Easy Rider Raging Bull well not Raging Bull but yeah Easy Rider yeah absolutely have you seen that film no it's just like the band and their music at the time that was a hugely influential film in Hollywood at the time because it was like the spirit of indie auteur cinema and Yeah, distinctly recall that song being used in the scene where Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper are on their massive Harley Davidson bikes.
