I'm Evil Tonight

Only your love.

Oh, baby, help me keep my sanity But only your love can save me But it's oh so true Without you, baby, I don't know what to do Oh, baby, baby, I'm so lonely I'm evil tonight, mean as I can be.

Cause the man I love just walked away from me.

So if you don't mind, please.

Yeah, this heart of mine.

I cry because I feel so sad Knowing you won't be around The thought of losing you It hurts through and through This heart of mine Yeah, this heart of mine Oh Oh, my love, I can't deny It's buried deep inside This heart of mine, yeah This heart of mine Please, don't ever leave my heart It's so great

oh that was a nice section sometimes you hear tracks so often that you forget how good they are and uh for me that's a case in point with that last track from 1965 absolute classic northern soul the artistics and this heart of mine on okay From 67, before that we had Betty Harris on Sansu, I'm Evil Tonight.

Another Betty before that from 1965, and that was Betty Lovett, a great double-sider, written by the winning team of Joe Armstead, Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson.
