I Believe in Your Sweet Love

Now, the reason why I think it's so important to highlight the fact that Ronnie Scott and Steve Wolf were working on their own at this point is that you get a distinct difference in the kind of the sonic quality of the early recordings.

And the first one was a song called I Believe in Your Sweet Love.

And I'd only ever heard when I sort of started listening to Bonnie's music, the album version, which is really very different.

if you want my love you've only got to take it and if you get my heart do anything but break it and if you wanna know the truth i think about you all night

And I thought that was always a weird comment because the single edit, I don't think it's particularly long.

It's about three, three and a half minutes, something like that.

But then when I was involved with Cherry Red's RCA years box set, In 2019, BMG sent over a digital master that they had of a full version of this early recording of I Believe in Your Sweet Love.

And yeah, it's about five minutes just over.
