I'm sure this is going to come up in the questions somewhere, but what about Hydlide? I know that's not an Enix game, but it does have a lot of those RPG elements in it, and it's a little almost like a cross between an action game and an RPG, and it came out before Dragon Quest.

Yeah.

There have been a few games that come out before Dragon Quest.

Hydlide does just barely, by about two months, beat Dragon Quest to the Family Computer.

But it's still an action game.

It has RPG elements, but it's an action game.
