Chinese Laundry is going from 9pm, La Cueva Super Club has its Saturday session, and for the laughs, Happy Endings Comedy Club has an 8.30pm show.

Yeah.

And subsequently transferred to Hyde Park Barracks.

The terminology used in the record is uncomfortable to modern use, but it's important historically.

And that's what some people forget.

So for me, yeah, I think it was important to celebrate that part of Irish history here.

But it's also, it's incredible that every time I have a reading or an event, Like I'm speaking on the 12th of September at the Irish famine commemoration here at Hyde Park Barracks, which is where these orphan girls who were sent during the famine, that's where they landed.

And from there, they were sent into employment, into those same indentured arrangements that their daughters were later.

Uh, so we, there's an annual celebration and I'm, you know, very honored to be speaking at that, um, on the 12th of September, but I can guarantee you I'll, I'll, after I speak, there'll be a massive queue of people who want to chat about their great, great, great grandmother or grandfather who came during famine times.
