Hyattsville

We went to the National Building Museum that day.

We went and got pizza at this great pizza place in Hyattsville that has like a playground outside.

And so then we went and got snacks.

I was trying to get my daughter to go to sleep.

And my parents were very supportive of me going to DeMatha, even though they taught in the public school system in Montgomery County, Maryland.

And so commuting from Rockville, Maryland, to Hyattsville, Maryland, the 70s, was a bit interesting, you know, before the Metro, but they allowed me to do it, and it was the beginning of an amazing relationship with Morgan

Wooten.

And just to refresh everybody's memory about some of these DeMatha teams that were around you, ahead of you, and behind you at that time, drop a few names about some of the guys that you were trying to beat out for playing time.

But then, for whatever reason, we were invited to, well, thanks to Eco City Farms and Benny Ares, who is one of my mentors and absolutely best people that I have crossed through my life, you know, Benny Ares, he founded Eco City Farms.

And that's in Hyattsville and Bladensburg area.

So I did an internship there and he highly recommended to come check out One Acre Farms.

And compost crew had a compost scraps day or food scraps day there.
