nostalgia, right? For even people who live through it.

I have met many people who are of an age and this was true living in the Hutongs of Beijing or others who are in there now would be in their 70s and 80s.

And they represent that not small proportion of that generation that has this sort of at least under Mao, we were all poor equally, or there was no corruption under Mao, by which, of course, they mean that there was corruption, but it didn't run you over with its Ferrari, you know, as you're walking back from the wet market.

And I think that was particularly true, that kind of feeling, that sentiment was particularly true in the late 90s, 2000s, when the corruption was so visible in China.
