In 2022, country music matriarch and pioneer Miss Loretta Lynn passed away at her ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, peacefully at the age of 90.

She was known as the coal miner's daughter, had, of course, an Academy Award winning movie of the same name.

She broke social barriers with her songwriting and left behind a huge musical legacy of over six decades, was also a friend to Miss Patsy Cline back in the 1960s.

That was it in that time zone.

We were able to use that information and trace the telephone call to Hurricane Mills in Tennessee to a little convenience store restaurant there.

It was a stunning revelation.

Detectives could now pinpoint Siebert to the small community of Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, 70 miles west of Nashville.

So I called the district attorney, told him we were going to Tennessee.

He said, okay, I'm coming with you.

Everybody's tired, but everybody's upbeat.

And I don't think a single one of us took a nap that night out there on the road, because we were just on the roadway waiting for morning.
