You will get it until such time as morale improves.
Brennan StorrHOST
Actually, have you seen, speaking of maple syrup, have you seen the film Hundreds of Beavers?
Paul BestallHOST
Not yet, no.
Brennan StorrHOST
Oh, my God.
Brennan StorrHOST
You have to see Hundreds of Beavers.
Brennan StorrHOST
I rewatched it again recently.
Brennan StorrHOST
It is so much fun.
Brennan StorrHOST
Just a masterpiece.
KyleHOST
But this was the first video game movie where it wasn't just like, here's characters from the game, here's places from the game, here's a story from the game.
KyleHOST
The movie is the most playing a video game movie I've ever seen since Hundreds of Beavers, which is also the same feeling.
KyleHOST
This is like a horror version of Hundreds of Beavers.
KyleHOST
Which is already a very
TreyHOST
horrific movie.
Will DodsonHOST
Uh, no special features listed.
Will DodsonHOST
All right, next up, Hundreds of Beavers.
Will DodsonHOST
Coming on November 24th on Blu-ray in the US from Video Vision Or- Visions Org, with an exclusive fur slipcover, Hundreds of Beavers.
Will DodsonHOST
Now, this is the same disc as previously released from Cartuna in a new slipcover that you can buy on its own or with the Blu-ray release.
Hunter RobinsonGUEST
Hmm.
Will DodsonHOST
And, uh, the bundle, um, inc- uh, in- I guess is $64.95 plus $25 for the two-disc Blu-ray.
Hunter RobinsonGUEST
Hmm.
Will DodsonHOST
So I know that, uh, people love Hundreds of Beavers.
JesseHOST
Yeah.
JesseHOST
I saw today that, and I think this must have been like a year ago when this happened, but the people behind "Hundreds of Beavers," which is a, just a fantastic film, they put out a limited edition VHS of that movie.
JesseHOST
And I-
KevGUEST
Oh
LeRonn ChapmanHOST
I can't believe I didn't think about it.
LeRonn ChapmanHOST
But I will say that the two that I kind of came up with, one was Hundreds of Beavers.
LeRonn ChapmanHOST
We watched this in your backyard when you lived in Oklahoma City, Caleb.
LeRonn ChapmanHOST
Love the book.
Caleb MastersHOST
If you like one of those movies, watch the other one.
Caleb MastersHOST
Yeah.
Caleb MastersHOST
Hundreds of beavers, man.
Caleb MastersHOST
By the way, I'm still doing the pop-ups around the country randomly.
Mike SmithHOST
Uh, so you get Southern chicken lawyer in the movie, uh, which is fantastic.
Mike SmithHOST
And so, yeah, if you're a fan of the Looney Tunes, which I very much am, uh, my number one movie of 2024 was hundreds of beavers, which is heavily inspired, uh, by the Looney Tunes.
Mike SmithHOST
This captures the tone really well.
Mike SmithHOST
It's great live action animated combination.
19 MINS LATER
Mike SmithHOST
A really weird message towards the end, but a really good time nonetheless.
Mike SmithHOST
So Exit 8, it's on Shudder right now, and it's really inventive, really clever, and I had a lot of fun with it.
Mike SmithHOST
And it really does feel like you are watching a video game sort of happening, but in a very positive way where it's like you're seeing his progression happening in the same way like Hundreds of Beavers utilizes that really well to check that movie again.
Mike SmithHOST
Yeah, yeah.
Seth KeysorHOST
Maybe we're, we're reaching that point.
Seth KeysorHOST
Jabin Carter, "Hundreds of beavers would be a good pass rush." [laughs]
Joshua BriscoHOST
There's a...
Joshua BriscoHOST
Seth, there's a movie called Hundreds of Beavers.
Seth KeysorHOST
No.
Joshua BriscoHOST
And it's excellent.
Joshua BriscoHOST
It has a real Looney Tunes vibe, but it's live action.
Joshua BriscoHOST
Um, it's delightful.
