Humboldt

The story of Jeremy Tate begins in small town USA.

I am from Humboldt, Tennessee.

It's a town just between Memphis and Nashville, just north of Jackson, that has a population of about 10,000 people in it.

I grew up there.

That was where my music career began at.

And the reason that I joined band was because all of my friends were doing band.

And there wasn't a lot to do in the small town of Humboldt.

So that's the reason I joined band.

And on top of corn and soybeans, the Jewells also raise alfalfa and cereal grains, which they say is important for soil health and reducing exposure to market volatility.

Well, meanwhile, in Humboldt, Tennessee, no-tiller Matt Griggs is a busy guy right now between harvest, watching his Tennessee Vols, and combing through all that new data from his on-farm trials.

Griggs puts new products to the test every year in his replicated biological plots.

Now, in this particular test, he compared Micronoc and Biocote Gold seed treatments.

And to stand where he stood, you know, all this time.

And to imagine what that coastline must have looked like to him, having never been outside the boundaries of Humboldt, Tennessee at that age.

Imagine what he thought about all that.

I don't know.

That's awesome.

You know, you left home, T.G., and home was Humboldt, Tennessee, not too far from me.

I'm on the east side of the state.

That's over there on the west side.

That takes some serious nerve as a kid.

I mean, you was, I don't know, 15 years old when you left Humboldt, went to Memphis and started chasing kind of a music career.

What was driving you at that point? And did you have any idea what you were getting yourself into?

Well, I had hopes and dreams.

I heard one this week on T.G. Shepard, how he started singing.

Basically, he was born in Humboldt, Tennessee, ran away from home, kind of went to Memphis, ended up hooking up with Elvis Presley at a skating rink.

He was walking out of a skating rink, and Elvis was like, do you skate? It was like after hours, and took over the skating rink.

Anyway, he became friends with Elvis.

College of the Redwoods, is that somewhere in Northern California then?

Yeah, it's in a town called Eureka.

It's in Humboldt County, and it's about four or five hours north of San Francisco.

And kind of about the size of a cave, I would guess.

Let's keep it rolling.

Happy Sunday, Fundy, Joshua, Tiffany, Kaylin, the best mods on the planet, CC Family and Guests, Alicia K. Mayo, and Humboldt, Tennessee.

All right, Joshua.

Tennessee's very own Krista Pike has to request before she meets her final judgment the last of the month.

Whichever the proper tense is, she wants them to hang her.

That's not current, nor do I believe it was the methodology back when she committed her crime i could see the female team being a possibility but what about the hanging part can they do that all right y'all i hope you have a great sunday sunday and tap the like button share and say hi in chat it's all free thanks y'all bye
