Humanities DC

Just when you thought you've heard it all.

I recently worked with Humanities DC on this project called Hometown DC.

it's been so far like there's one installation in each ward of the city and all one of each in each eight wards um and i think on the 16th of september they're all going to be on display at the mlk library downtown and and i photographed 18 or 19 people like individually portraits and i think the youngest participant was 21 and the oldest participant was like approaching 80 so just all different walks of life in dc all different experiences and and just stories and some people are lifers and some people got came here for college and it's it's pretty amazing so i I try not to have a set narrative of what the city is in my head.

I like, I try to allow the city to tell me what it is, what is happening here.
