Hulk: Gray

While the rest of the stories being hyped are just, you know, Neil Gaiman's 1602 for Marvel, which features multiple characters teaming up, I guess.

guess they're in the story at least there's hulk gray which does not feature a team up and the much anticipated kevin smith run on amazing spider-man and yet it

never came to pass we're still anticipating that one

yes also mentioned our two michael turner projects one of which becomes soul fire while the other unproduced story is described as quote a lord of the rings style epic that takes place on an alien world inhabited by several distinct elemental races each exists in their own separate microcosm until an alien in invasion forces them to unite in order to defend their planet aliens being invaded by aliens okay but also teased in a sidebar is a potential crossover between gi joe and the x-men which would certainly have capitalized on the 80s nostalgia of the era because this is in addition to a new gi joe and transformers crossover rumored in the buzzbin section the previous issue we're hearing about you know transformers jla transformers x-men everybody was trying to cross over with these hot properties but CT, for you, what I've just mentioned here, which of them, whether at the time it would have caught your attention or now, is the most exciting?

i did with tim sale but it kind of is it's just it's a mystery you're trying to identify who you know so it's just like i think he lost out on everything he wanted to do so the passion was there he's like well whatever jim wants i'll just write it you know and

Yeah.

And I would say that because Hulk Gray is mentioned earlier in this issue and Loeb had done Daredevil Yellow and Hulk Gray and Spider-Man Blue.

And those all had a very similar type of situation where there's a lot of flashbacks.

Yeah.

Well, and the cool thing with Kingpin, especially if you're talking on the comics version, when Peter David did the Joe Fix-It miniseries a few years ago, where it's about the Grey Hulk when he was working in Las Vegas.

Yeah, Kingpin could actually go toe-to-toe with the Grey Hulk.

They actually fought.

And he's just a dude.
