Hsuan Hua

Bodhisattva, this is what Bodhisattvas do.

They, in order to help us, Bodhisattvas like Master Hsuan Hua, who came from a pure land to become a short monk.

That's Tũng Sư.

You see, Tũng Sư is the same undertaking.

Okay? Conditioned and unconditioned.

Conditioned meaning, uh... and this is where, uh, Master Hsuan Hua's explanation is, you know, from Master Ching Liang is very good.

Conditioned meanings fabrication.

Okay? Yeah.

Why? Because his level is much higher than Master Hsu Yun's level.

And therefore, if Master Hsu Yun was recognized as a patriarch of all five Chan schools in China, then definitely whatever Master Hsu Yun could understand as far as Chan is concerned, I assure you Master Hsuan Hua understands a lot more.

a lot more, no comparison at all.

But he's only chosen to be a wayang master yin.

All that is part of the Chan training in the Wei Yang Lineage.

never lose sight of the fact that Chan is a core training of American Mahayana.

This is why, one of the reasons why Master Hsu Yun named Master Hsuan Hua as Wei Yang Pei Char, because that's the core training methodology for America.

And not just for the United States, because this is where we train you and eventually we send you out all over.

If you think about that, you know, so w- we could have died at this time or never, never be born.

And, uh, during the Cuba crisis, there was this, um, famous master in, in, in America, Master Hua.

And he realized the world is in a crisis now, and it's 50/50, and it can turn, turn in, turn in both ways.

And he started a two-week fast and were meditating for two weeks and fasting for two and asked his disciples to do the same.
