And so often what you see is people will do a park and ride, they drive to the bus stop, zoom into town, and it's much, much faster than driving themselves, especially during peak traffic.

And so East Auckland is going to get something very, very similar, which is gonna mean it's much faster for people in suburbs like Botany, Pakuranga, and Howick, all of those East Auckland equivalents, to have a quick journey into the city.

This project is due in about a year.

Yeah, what suburb? Yeah, the Howick sort of Pakaranga is kind of, I mean, the Howick Pakaranga Cricket Club is quite famous.

It's one, Katie Mills came out of there as well.

But it used to be.

Yeah, he did go, all right.

There used to be Howick AFC, who I played for as a junior, and Pakaranga Town as well.

And it was quite a fierce rivalry, right? I remember going to games at William Green Domain, which was the Howick home ground, under lights on a Friday night.

They'd often play games.

Um, but next week there's a lot on.

Howick's got the fifth leg of the Alex Baker, Barfoot & Thompson Gin Club Circuit, and that's along with their Restricted.

They've got a full house there.

Wanaka Intermediate is already, has got the sign-up, booked out.

Matamata Intermediate's on the Sunday.

And Victoria, uh, have got an Intermediate tournament and they've also got a Junior running alongside that.

Uh, Howick, alongside their, their Intermediate, Junior tournament have got a 3A Restricted, and not a bad turnout for that actually.

Quite a few intermediate players are actually playing up into that rather than entering the Intermediate tournament, I noticed.

It's only fair.

And so I legit, I remember I would go to the Apothecary Cafe in Howick, which is out in East Auckland, and I'd take my Bible and I'd order a flat white.

I didn't order two because...

Although I'm there with God, he's not drinking the coffee.

Yeah, we were just, while we were eating donuts, talking about the Monterey and Howick, which I do want to talk about because I fucking, I've been so annoyed about it sometimes.

We watched that in 3D at Monterey Howick.
