I just thought the price was the price, right?

Yeah, the only thing I've done is all the Howdens, and there's a few other places like this, they work separately, different profit centres.

So I have phoned like two nearby ones before because they always differ in price.

It's never the same.

And yeah, sure enough, you know, that, that did quite well.

Um, you know, and Howdens, um, put some money into that as well.

Do, do you think there was an element of luck here? Have you been kind of...

You, 'cause you've, you've ridden a very good market at a very good time, and you've also-

Gave it a lick of paint, put a Howdens kitchen in it, or whatever it was at the time, might've been Wicks or whatever was available.

Um, I think I spent five grand on it, and I sold it for 90-odd thousand.

Uh, and I just, so then I just think, "Actually, all the things that I can do with the cars, and buffing up the pieces of furniture from India, I can do it with a house, and there's more money in this," you know? So that inspired me to go out and do more of that, and which I did.

... gonna be all over, 'cause the kitchen ...

I'd have to say the kitchen, we're now on the plastering stage, and we've been to, uh, Howdens this morning and sorted out the furniture.

So I was all over, like, um, vouchers this Christmas for kitchenware, but actually you've just given me another idea, which is much more relevant to this podcast sort, and got nothing to do with the inside-
