really opened the doors for melodic metal, very at-the-gates-ish, right? Jesse Leach is one of my favorite vocalists in metalcore, but Howard Jones too, both of them are phenomenal singers.

And for me, just the transitions between the heavy metal and the hardcore and the melodic parts is just very seamless, just flows so perfectly together.
