Howard 100

If there's any confusion in the back row, I love Howard Stern.

The transition comes one year after Stern and Cohn prank listeners by having Cohn take over one over the airwaves and imply that Stern was fired and that Howard 100 Stern's main channel was now his own.

the prank came amid rumors about stern's impending retirement and the cancellation of a show this time stern is actually giving cone channel 101 his second channel which hosted archival clips of his show as he returns and transitions to only doing one show a week so howard's 100 will still be his rather than the typical two.

So by handing over 101 to Andy, which I think is winning big for Andy, Stern has struck a deal with HBO Max to adapt his live series XM show into streaming episodes for HBO Max.

Blah, blah, blah.

Last year we pranked the world.

We made everybody think I was taking over Howard 100.

It was the best morning.

The portable thing being looked like the portable GPSs.

And that was like, it said Howard 101, you know, you go to NFL channel, but it's like mad archaic looking if you saw it.

Yeah, yeah.

You know what I mean? It wasn't until years that smartphones came that you got, oh, the Sirius app.

All right, let's get to, I think we're getting to now some Howard 100 news.

And what we learn here is shocking.

You know, it was two channels.

If you listen to Sirius, there was Howard 100 and then Howard 101.

It was two channels.

One had the new stuff.

So this is off the run of the fact that he got a three-year renewal with SiriusXM.

Howard101, the channel that ran all his archives, is no longer a standalone channel.

It's been dropped to give it to Andy Cohen for his own 24-hour channel.

And Howard101 now will be more consumed with archives along with the news episodes on a regular basis.

Now let's take a look and see what's happening at Sirius XM Satellite Radio.

The Howard Stern Show is definitely coming back.

Howard's going to change.

The show will air on Howard 100 on Monday morning, and it will also be simulcast on HBO Max.

Beginning Tuesday, September 1st, Sirius XM will relocate several of its comedy and talk channels as it adds stations operated by Odyssey and Good Karma brands to its satellite platform.

Among the notable changes, Howard Stern's second channel, Howard 101, will leave the lineup.

Howard 100 will remain... on Channel 100, while Radio Andy moves from Channel 102 to Channel 101.

The comedy lineup will undergo extensive changes.

And, you know, it's two channels at Sirius.

Howard 100, Howard 101.

So they're taking away 101.

They've taken it away from him.
