Houston SaberCats

I'd say there's three teams.

Unfortunately, the professional team, the Sabercats, folded last year.

So, you know, I'll have to keep my aspirations in check, I suppose.

Yeah.

And they got knocked off by Edinburgh Vela last week, 42-40.

And obviously Edinburgh Vela, the Sabercats, are a very, very good team.

They were the No. 3 team in the Valley.

Our friends at RGVsports.com, Brian Ramos, Ivan Gutierrez, they do a great job.

And he's like, well, he's like, I got someone that wants to talk to you.

uh, Heineken Meyer is going to be the head coach of the Houston Sabercats and NLR.

And I said, okay, like, you know, I'll, I'll entertain it, um, just to see what comes of it.

And I had played against Heineken's teams at that 2015 world cup.

Exactly.

And we ended up playing the reigning league champions, the LA Giltinis.

And for those that don't know, the Houston Sabercats did not have a history of winning.

They had a history of being the worst team in the league.

It's only the two Austin teams and the two Dallas teams.

Hark, Hurt, and I think it's Katie, basically what used to be the Sabercats.

Program are no longer in D1.

So we're not sure what's happening there.
