House of 1000 Corpses

Big Baby is the latest release from writer-director Spider-1, also known as the frontman of Power Man 5000, and also known as the brother or half-brother of Rob Zombie.

Horror fans will know him as the creator of House of 1000 Corpses, Devil's Rejects, Three from Hell, and of course Rob Zombie's Halloween, Halloween 2.

I know him initially from his music, as one of the instigators of me getting into metal was picking up what I thought was Hellbelly Dulux, but it wasn't.

It was actually the remix album.

But now, thank God, old, old gnarface over here drug her clam out of the cavernous fucking whatever it is.

I, I have talked about some Rob Zombie stuff before, I wanna say on Mark Begley's show, Wake Up Heavy, which you can find on weirdingwaymedia.com. We talked about House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects, I wanna say, which, I mean, again, talk about two films that, like you've already alluded to, exist to rub people the wrong way.

I think for me the reason, you know, before we kinda get into the movie proper, the reason I wanted to talk about this movie is this is a movie that the last couple times I've watched it I have not enjoyed it.

I think, I think I, I've always, and again, we're just sort of jumping past the original, but I, I like House of 1000 Corpses.

I think it's maybe the least original concept he's come up with outside of the last half of this movie.

Like she was she wasn't like officially diagnosed as being like cross-eyed, but is like leaning towards her.

that so like she's not just like a cookie cutter like starlet like there's something really interesting and human and human about about her the way she looks and she's just like always fully commits to whatever material she's doing and makes it work no matter what um like she like she's She's amazing in House of 1000 Corpses, a movie that is one of the few that I actively despise that movie.

But I love her in it.

She makes it work.
