A host of men will march with you northward to retake your seat and tear the Greyjoy whelp from your walls.

After that is done, together we will march on the Iron Islands to root the Greyjoys out from where they roost.

That one Voyage of Alyn Oakenfist going to fight the Kraken and the Kraken already being dead.

The Kraken in terms of the, uh, Greyjoy.

Yeah.

Yeah, I mean give us that maybe mixed with the Sea Snake spinoff they wanted to do.

Why this? Why did this strike a chord with you?

You know, I don't know why, it was just funny, and I think, you know, you played the Game of Thrones music at the front, and I always think, like, you know, people say, we the North, right, in Toronto, and Game of Thrones-wise, we take the North, it's like a Jon Snow, Ned Stark, alien cry to overthrow the Greyjoys, and all that stuff, and for some reason, I just thought it was a lot of fun, and graphically, it works out real well, so it kind of You know, invasion plans.

It's all just a big joke.

I love kind of teasing people.

The rebellion is over before it does much damage, and does help solidify Tywin's grip on power as a steady hand.

With Balon Greyjoy dead, Tywin has him executed and instead places his son, Theon, as the new ruler of House Greyjoy.

Though young, Theon makes for an ideal puppet.

He leaves the day-to-day operations of the Iron Islands to one of his uncles, while Theon is taken to the capital to be raised by Tywin.

It's them not seeing the resentments of their bannermen and how they are barely enjoying them being at the top of the roost and getting the best of everything, getting the deference of everyone.

And meanwhile, you have these hungry, angry, resentful bannermen, like the Freys, like the Greyjoys underneath, who have all of their own plots, who are keeping score of every slight and perceived slight thrown their way, and that that will bite the Starks in the ass.

That's interesting.

I mean, I guess I was taking a little too literally.

You know, again, with the world being small because there's a lot of stuff happening.

For example, the Red Kraken, um, the Greyjoys are just playing bloody hell on the west coast of Westeros, um, in the Sunset Sea, which I, I love the name of.

Um, and they also introduce a love triangle that they do nothing with between Cole, Aemond, and Alys Rivers, where everyone is accusing Alys of using filters, spelled F-I-L-T-R-E-S, which is a very old-timey British word for love potion.

Hmm.

And, and I feel like there's some ...

You know, and I've always kind of felt Jaime, about Jaime the same way, that there are the characters who can see that the old way ain't gonna cut it and are gonna be the ones that are gonna be more adaptable, and she's always felt, like, more adaptable to me than, um, well, than any of the other Greyjoys, of course, but ...
