Hot Stuff

Uh, we're gonna start on the 5th, and the band Skorupa released Last from DIY Koto Records.

Malad put out two singles, Rotterdam, which is on their upcoming album, and Hot Stuff, a Donna Summer cover, and that was on the 5th.

Love Jane's vocals on the Hot Stuff.

That's awesome.

Class Action with Forever Canada, a single on the sixth.

That was the original title [laughs] of the screenplay.

And the original Fame number, the dancing on tops of the taxi cabs, which also breaks out spontaneously, fully formed, was originally shot to, I think, Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff." If I was Donna Summer or the songwriter-producer of "Hot Stuff," I would definitely have sued over "Hot Lunch," 'cause the similarities are quite striking.

So for me, again, if you're in a movie theater in 1980 or whenever and this comes on, I, I get it.

It's, it's great fun.

And I Feel Love returned to the charts one more time following Donna Summer's death in 2012, when it peaked at 45.

It's Donna Summer's second most streamed track on Spotify behind Hot Stuff.

We've had five cover versions as well.

Bronski Beat and Mark Almond from 1985, number three.
