Let's talk about your automotive, your background, how you got started into cars and hot rods and all that good stuff.

The cars started with my grandfather.

He had quite a collection.

I can't wait to get it out on the road again.

Yeah, I understand.

A lot of people go into college, get married, kids, life gets in the way sometimes of the hot rods.

It does.

Yeah.

We talked with Richard earlier, and we were comparing some similarities to UFC and their early start and how you get that more mainstream and get some of those people that maybe didn't grow up in a hot rod background, don't drag race on the weekends.

How do you bring NHRA to the fans? And he had some ideas.

Yeah, we'll have a-

L- little bit less of hot rod stuff, just 'cause it's, we just don't have a ton in inventory at the moment.

Yeah.

We, we have a little bit of speed equipment, but it, we, it's always a crapshoot, 'cause e- every, every year, l- like other years we've been super heavy on speed equipment, and we didn't sell much.

Mm-hmm.

He might have that thing, and that's why last year I was going in Packard booths, like, actually going in them and looking around a lot more than I used to.

I used to just kind of buzz by, and if I saw, you know, something that would be good for early Ford hot rod related or custom, I would run in there.

But I wouldn't go in and actually nose around where this, last year I was like, every Packard booth I went in and just kinda nosed around to see if there's something.

There's jobs out here now that have that clear on it that just look amazing.

One of the people that I'm super proud to say is using the products is Jason Graham from Graham's Hot Rods.

Him and his wife, Tasha, she's been spraying it.

Now I've got to tell you a story about a guy named Noel Bullock, and this is fantastic.

He's a local circle track racer in Nebraska, and he comes from a well-to-do family, I must say, but his ethic was very much, well, early hot rodding.

They didn't use that term then, but that's what it was.

His Model T was completely cut down to nothing but a cowl, and he had a little four-banger in it, and he was a really good racer, and he showed up at Pikes Peak in 1922, and won the hill climb overall.

That said, between 1929 and 1931, Ford sold 4.85 million Model A cars.

And of course, the parts to fix them were also booming.

Now this was really the dawn of hot rodding as we know it, although it wasn't called that for a long time.

Because remember, in 1920 to 1933, we had prohibition.
