Hospital medicine

Well, I'm gonna challenge y'all with two, two more concepts.

First is How much of this problem is due to the rise of hospital medicine? That's number one.

That's, that's, that's a great question.

I'm glad you posed that one.

And, and number two is, is the, the fastest way to fix many of the hidden curriculum is to improve the life of th- those same primary care internists who are teaching our residents, and put the residents in a real clinic, not just a resident clinic.

So those two things I want you to, to bite off saying, "Okay, the hell with the hidden curriculum.

We need good role models who everybody wants to be like, and what is this hospital medicine thing doing to people who don't really wanna be a subspecialist but, damn, I can make a lot of money and not have to work too, too many days."
