Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1

Are we on the same page? Are we looking at the same style of stuff? And then once I see that they got it, they can do the smalls and it just develops on and on.

And that's the way that did with Horizon because Horizon was, you know, we've shot two of them and we shot seven days of chapter three.

And what happened is we were going to, when I did the postman with Kevin Costner in 97, he talked about this project.

It's called Sidewinders or something at the time.

And then in 2003, he goes, I think we're going to do this thing called Horizon.

uh can you get a scout together and scout some of the stuff so we did and it didn't go happen and then in 2016 we scouted new mexico for seven days and he put together this great presentation and it didn't happen because he got a show to act in and then january i think 2022 he calls me and goes hey d we're ready to go we're gonna we're going i'm ready I said, I'm in Europe doing Jack Ryan.

I said, I won't be done till May or June, something like that.

And then I had to fly to Montana to meet with Kevin who was doing Yellowstone.

I've never been somebody who's like, "Oh, let me throw the Western." I say that, and then the last, like, six months, I watched Kevin Costner's American Horizon for the second time.

Yeah, I'm, I, I'm like, I watched it-

Uh, that, that's just utterly shocking.

And so every film's just...

You know, it's, it's funny because I, I, I think that if Horizon, uh, so Horizon 1's out.

He's filmed Horizon 2, it's not out yet.
