Horizon Forbidden West

And this week, to wrap it up, we are talking about the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn.

We are talking about Horizon Forbidden West.

Joining me to chat all about things that are forbidden in the West is my good buddy from Still Muppeting, as well as obviously his own main podcast, Nostalgia Marcanum, and playing by year? Playing by ear, yeah.

By ear.

mean, there's a lot of franchises where I'm like, you could do it with Muppets.

Like, why not?

I actually think Muppet Horizon Forbidden West would work better than Zero Dawn.

I'll explain.

Halloween's coming up.

Finally, this month's PlayStation Plus catalog editions are now playable, including Mafia, The Old Country, and Horizon Forbidden West, among others.

Of course, there are a few spooky games because Halloween's in a week.

The Midnight Walk and Poppy Playtime Chapter 2.

Yeah.

Horizon Forbidden West, right? And then Burning

Shores was the

thing.

First up is the Mafia Old Country on October 20th.

Horizon Forbidden West on October 20th.

My Copunk on October 20th.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2, a good spooky game just in time for Halloween, October 27th.

Sorry, skipped a part of that article.

So yeah, that's what you get if you're on Premium Classics.

um i think actually a solid month all things considered i you're not getting through horizon forbidden west in the month timeline and all the other games they add to you you're not you're not getting through tales of horizon in two months time so you know a couple different things uh tricky i know you said you're doing mafia uh you're gonna go in and do mafia old country at all

Yes, actually, I'm a little upset about this because I just bought the Mafia collection, which had all four games for like $40.

There's only so much you can do within the context of driving cars.

Does that make sense? Like, from Horizon Zero Dawn to Forbidden West, they can give her a whole new host of abilities, a whole new location, all new enemies, all new characters, all new story.

Like a racing game, like, there's only so much you can do within the confines of racing a car.

So I think what ends up happening is that diminishes the game's chances.

Are they sequels? Yes.

Oh, well, sequels commonly do that.

Sequels commonly sell less than their predecessor, whether it's Spider-Man 2, Ragnarok, Forbidden West.

They commonly sell less than their predecessors.

You know? Aside from Marvel Tocon, I've actually been...

I jumped back into, for whatever reason, Horizon Forbidden West just to see if I had any activities that I had liked lying around from the open world.

um and there was a ton so i i played a lot of that this week and remember how a few weeks ago i was like you know i don't know if i'm gonna get the witcher 3 again and then i saw that it

was on sale
