It was a relatively new, small public high school on the south side of Providence called The Met.

There was a big arrest that happened over the past week.

Hope High School, four students have been arrested in Hope High School with a sexual assault, an actual sexual assault investigation.

Four Providence High School students, Hope High School, charged with sexual assault.

Christy, spokesperson for the police department, said that the investigation began Wednesday morning after receiving a report about a sexual abuse that happened inside of the school.

Four juveniles have been charged with first degree sexual assault and they're currently being held at the Rhode Island training school.

Who were they touching? I'm assuming it must have been another student.

But that's crazy.

Because people saw the police at the Hope High School, the arrest being made.

Folks, a couple things.

One, this story out of Hope High School, I recognize most of the people that are hearing this right now don't, number one, live in Providence.

Number two, don't have a child that attends Hope High School.

But the larger issue is, to me, not so much what this story looks like right now, but what it's going to look like under this new socialist mayor, David Morales.

I believe anyone that's running for office, any Republican, independent, I believe, here's some free advice.

the, a number of assaults are going to climb the number of, you know, quality of life things, people urinating in public, um, you know, theft, uh, shoplifting, all those things start to become, um, under this David Morales will start to become very, um, very minor.

Now at the same token, he is a big believer in what they call restorative justice.

And under that, So this Hope High School story is pretty frightening.

It does tie into Hope High School as well.

Some people may

not see it.

Morales wants to go a step further than Smiley in making Providence a sanctuary city.

When you start to let crime take over, Morales isn't even in yet.

And look what's happening at Hope High School.

Do you know what he wants to do at Hope High School? So you have four juveniles charged first degree sexual assault.

Providence police confirmed detectives are investigating what the school is calling a serious incident.

So tonight, the father of a 16 year old junior tells NBC 10 that his daughter says she was sexually assaulted by four other students in the school.

A call no parent wants to receive.

She informed me that she had been sexually assaulted here at her old school.

Her father says his daughter is a 16-year-old junior at Hope High School.

He says she told him four male students sexually assaulted her in an area under the stairs.

I think it is going to happen.

As far as some school news, Providence Police are investigating a reported incident at Hope High School.

In a letter to the community, described the allegations serious, didn't say what happened.

Students involved were brought to the office.
