And when I started coming to the Hootenanny, which was only, like, November of last year, I was like, "Ah, this is great."

Um, this is a bunch of people who are listening to what's going on on stage.

And that is, to me, what music's for.

It just comes down to having the, like, belief in the pieces, which is why I'm doing a lot of performing in front of folks and getting out there and trying to feel a little bit more resolute in that feeling.

The main thing I do right now is go play at the Hootenanny on Mondays and try to just feel confident in myself getting up there.

But yeah, the recording process is very, like, fluid for me.

Like I don't love being in the bars and I don't love playing covers always.
