Honor walk

I'm also a Christian, so, you know, acceptance is big in my life.

Monday we're going to do what they call the Walk of Honor.

Okay.

Monday morning, and then, you know, I see him.

It's just amazing.

And I know another thing you guys do are Honor Walks, right? So tell me a little bit about how Honor Walks work at Iowa Donor Network.

Yeah, each hospital that we work with, they mostly love honor walks.

They love to partake in them.

They love to participate.

They love when families allow the hospital to participate in them.

Each hospital unit has rules about visitors and the numbers and just kind of how they have to keep things situated.

For the honor walks, they're able to kind of let go of that a little bit.

Please join us in 10 minutes for an honor walk to recognize and provide respect to a patient, their family, and friends.

All available staff members who are available to join, please line up on the fifth floor in the hallway between the ICU and OR to respectfully honor the generosity of this patient.
