Honobia

So one Friday after work, and, uh, we went to go to Tallahina, and we stayed.

I met his aunt, and then we went to go camp out up in Honobia, and I just, I fell in love with the place.

And then we've got other family there, and we had no horses with us.

We had made a fire, and we were sitting around the fire, and it's quiet, and it was, I think, like October because I don't do, like, the heat camping thing, plus the ticks and all that.

Uh, one of our friends lived in the area, so we would camp out at her house.

But we would go to...

Boykin Springs has become famous, so has Honobia.

They have a big event there now.

Speaking of exciting things, I want to let everybody know about an awesome upcoming event happening the first weekend of October.

Bigfoot Capital Events of Honobia is presenting Bigfoot at the 40, a Bigfoot festival and conference happening October 2nd through the 3rd down in Honobia, Oklahoma at Christ 40 Acres.

There's going to be speakers, researchers, vendors, and a whole lot of Bigfoot talk all weekend long.

You'll even see familiar faces from the Bigfoot community, including members of NoBro.

No animal makes that kind of sound, and it didn't match anything I knew from years of being in the woods.

This report describes a Bigfoot encounter near Honobia, Oklahoma, in late September to early October 2022.

I went down to the Bigfoot Festival in Honobia with my wife and my mom, and we set up camp on a 40-acre property where the event was being held, placing our tent near the tree line at the back of a valley along a barbed wire fence.

We got there early on Thursday, set everything up, and one of the event organizers came by on a four-wheeler and told us we were in a good spot, saying that he had seen a big male in a tree where we had set up, claiming it was around 12 feet tall, which I did not take seriously at the time.

That night, we went to bed around 9:00, and later around midnight, a pack of coyotes came up along the trees making a lot of noise.
