Homey

I mean, that's also something that we tell our users.

I mean, the whole reason we launched Homey self-hosted server is that a lot of people who are already into smart home or already tried a bit of stuff, usually they have their own hardware.

And if they really want to use the Homey features like flows or Homey energy or just our interface and that sort of stuff, then Homey self-hosted server is a great way to get started there.

And indeed with Matter, for example, with SwitchBot Hub or the Acara Hub or the Philips Hue Hub, you can of course use Matter there as well.

But then again, for stuff like Ring, I know there is a perfectly well-maintained community integration that also adds support for all the hub connected devices as well.

You don't know? Homey? I don't know Homey, no, unfortunately.

Oh, Homey is basically a whole other smart home ecosystem.

So it's similar to like smart things.

It got acquired by LG and is now kind of, it powers the LG devices, but it's also its own ecosystem, works with Matter, and all of that stuff.

So you can use this to control those.

And I wonder if you could use it to control other Matter devices, not within Homey.

But my guess, it's going to be very Homey-specific.
