I am a hard hearing rapper from Muskegon, Michigan, but I've been in Portland...

I moved out in Por- uh, I meant moved in Portland in 2012 after I graduated high school in, uh, in Holland, Michigan.

So I wanted to, uh, to be a, uh, a first deaf rapper to blow up out of Michigan, you know.

And it took about, like, 10 years for me to get through that because, like, you know, you gotta remember, I'm deaf.

And I was in a, uh, I was signed to Dirty Cuz Entertainment.

Okay.

Shout out Boosie, Boosie Mane, and, uh, Lady Cuz all the way in Holland, Michigan.

Okay.

My grandfather didn't.

He lived in a house in Holland, Michigan, and there's a dirt floor.

They didn't have running water.

And I think that in many ways, we've built a culture around comfort and avoiding suffering and our well-intended doctors want to help us avoid suffering.

I went to college in Michigan, not at Michigan.

I went to Hope College, which is over in Grand Rapids in Holland.

But the University of Michigan is a top-tier university.

Great programs, academia...

I've been saving this one, and I hope I didn't oversell it too much, but this just really blew my mind, and, um, uh, take it away.

So Steven, 23 years old at the time, February 1978, another February disappearance, this time in Holland, Michigan.

And it's interesting that we're talking about Todd Geib.

Holland is just north of Casnovia, also in an area where there's been these clusters of strange disappearances.

And also Steven, again, was strong religious ties.

He was going to Hope College, which is part of the Reformed Church of America.

He went to Hope College in Holland, for those unfamiliar, Holland, Michigan, and then got a scholarship to go to Northwestern University and did that and got immediately hired and then wanted to use his marketing knowledge for himself rather than, you know, hoping that the higher ups would take his advice.

uh into sunscreens and bug spray so we'd started with some um topicals and then the promethrin one of our legacy items uh that formula was originally developed for the u.s military um to treat their bdus their uniforms and to make sure that they're not having to worry about mosquitoes and ticks when they were in action and then uh From there, we got into more topicals.

First of all, can you explain to us what biblical psychology is and what was it about that that particularly drew you into that field instead of traditional psychology?

Well, I went to a liberal arts college for my bachelor's, which was Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

And it's a church-supported college, but it's more or less liberal arts.

So I felt like I got the training and the understanding about psychology from a more secular or...
