Holiday on the Buses

... of being British in the 1970s, go and watch Holiday on the Buses.

It's quite extraordinarily dark, but set up as a comedy.

It's so depressing.

And Pontins was second there.

But then I watched Holiday on the Buses from 1973, and I think that was at a Pontins, and it looked quite nice, obviously.

I mean, Holiday on the Buses, would never get shown on tv again i'm quite certain because you know things things have changed if you know what i mean but you know just purely for the aesthetics of the holiday camp i would i'd recommend it i mean the location not the storyline of holiday on the buses because that's that's all in the past it's a different era

i quite enjoyed getting an angle on how the staff felt on this one i think there's a general thing that as i said they tend to be on minimum wage and that hasn't been a lot of there hasn't really been anything good on telly that shows people in the tourism industry yeah it's quite a good dynamic isn't it

yeah no one we'll never know if anyone new gets a you know like a yellow coat like peggy off heidi high Is this a QI moment, is it, where you shouldn't mention Peggy's yellow coat? I knew it.

I don't.

She's in Holiday on the Buses.

Fill your boots.

But we get-

That's the key thing with-

All right.

Well, we're back to Holiday on the Buses, because Holiday on the Buses-
